Vijay Kumar
Vijay Kumar is a senior managing director and heads Evercore ISI’s Medical Supplies & Devices and Life Science Tools & Diagnostics Team.
Since 2018, he has consistently been named to Institutional Investor’s All-America Research Team, earning a No. 2 rank in the life science & diagnostic tools sector in 2023 and 2022, and ranking as runner-up and No. 3 in the medical supplies & devices category in 2023 and 2022 respectively.
Dr. Kumar’s research expertise spans the diagnostic, medical equipment, medical supplies and life science tools subgroups. Prior to joining Evercore ISI in 2012, he spent three years at Deutsche Bank Securities as a research analyst on the healthcare services & technology research team. He began his career at Irevna Research.
Dr. Kumar graduated from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and is also a Doctor of Medicine.
