Paul Stefanick is a senior managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice with leadership responsibilities for advising large, multinational companies across industries.

Mr. Stefanick’s noteworthy transaction experience includes advising on United Technologies’ spinoffs of Otis and Carrier and merger with Raytheon to form Raytheon Technologies; Roper Technologies’ divestitures of Transcore, Indicor and Zetec; Martin Marietta Materials’ acquisitions of Texas Industries and select businesses of Heidelberg Materials; Danaher’s spinoffs of Fortive and Envista; Fortive’s acquisitions of Provation and Censis and its spinoff of Vontier; Stanley Black & Decker’s formation through the merger of Stanley Works and Black & Decker; Circor’s sale to KKR; IBM’s sale of its PC business to Lenovo and the spinoff of kyndryl from IBM; John Deere’s sale of SiteOne Landscape Supply and the IPO of the business; and Colfax’s IPO, acquisition of Charter plc and separation into Esab and Enovis.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Stefanick was a managing director and chairman of global corporate and investment banking at Deutsche Bank, where earlier roles included head of Americas corporate and investment banking and head of global investment banking coverage. Previously, he was chairman of global M&A at Merrill Lynch & Co. He earned his CPA credentials at Price Waterhouse.

Mr. Stefanick sits on Notre Dame’s Campaign Cabinet, Wall Street Leadership and Undergraduate Experience Advisory committees.

He holds a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
