Nikhil Vasani is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory business, specialising in financial services.

Mr. Vasani has advised on a broad range of M&A and capital markets transactions in the financial services industry. Select assignments include advising on Exponent’s strategic investment in Xeinadin; ABN AMRO’s sale of Maas Capital; KPMG’s sale of its U.K. restructuring practice; R&Q Insurance Holdings’ formation and capitalisation of Gibson Re sidecar; McGill & Partners’ launch and capitalisation by Warburg Pincus; Lloyds Banking Group’s acquisition of MBNA U.K.; Bank of Ireland’s capital package in relation to the state-held preference stock; RBS Group’s participation in the Asset Protection Scheme; and Lloyds TSB’s acquisition of HBOS.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Vasani was an executive director in the financial institutions group at UBS, which he joined in 2007.

Mr. Vasani has a first-class degree in commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi. He is a chartered financial analyst.
