Nancy Bryson
Nancy Bryson is a senior managing director and organizational officer of the firm’s Management Committee.
She has served as the chief operating officer of Evercore’s U.S. Investment Banking business since March 2023. Responsibilities include strategic advisory priorities, compensation, risk management, compliance responsibilities and other leadership matters.
She previously served as a senior advisor to Evercore’s CEO, and before that as Evercore’s treasurer and co-director of the firm’s Global Finance team, with additional responsibilities that included financial planning, strategic initiatives, tax, investor relations, risk management/internal audit and data resources.
Prior to joining the Evercore Finance team in 2017, Ms. Bryson was a managing director in the firm’s advisory practice. Select transactions include representing DuPont in its proxy fight with Trian Partners; DuPont in its spinoff of Chemours; AOL in the sale of its patent portfolio; and LyondellBasell in its Chapter 11 reorganization process.
Previously, Ms. Bryson was a director in the M&A group of Citigroup Global Markets, an associate in the M&A advisory practice at Wasserstein Perella, and an analyst in the investment banking group at Robertson, Stephens & Co.
Ms. Bryson graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in economics from of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and earned an MBA with high honors from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
