Michael Long is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice focused on consumer retail.

Since joining the firm, Mr. Long has advised clients on strategic transactions across both M&A and capital markets. Notable deals include Spin Master’s acquisition of Melissa & Doug, the sale of Sugar Foods to Pritzker Private Capital, Post Holdings’ acquisition of Select Pet Food Brands from The J.M. Smucker Co., KKR & Co.’s sale of The Bountiful Co. to Nestlé, and FFL Partners’ sale of Eyemart Express to Leonard Green.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Long spent six years at Citi in the investment banking division, focused on M&A and consumer advisory.

He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in finance.
