Matthijs Queis is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory business focused on the technology sector.

Notable deals include advising Grupo Primavera on its combination with Cegid; AutoForm Engineering on its sale to Carlyle Group; Unit4 on its sale to TA Associates; TietoEVRY on the sale of its oil & gas software business to Thoma Bravo; General Atlantic on its investment in Visma; Accelya on its sale to Vista Equity Partners; Inexio on its sale to EQT; and Astorg on its acquisition of Anaqua.

Previously, Mr. Queis was a director at Citigroup’s technology investment banking division based in London. He also worked at Merrill Lynch’s EMEA technology and M&A teams, and previously was at Credit Suisse in London.

Select deals prior to Evercore include advising Capgemini on its acquisition of IGATE, and Serco on the sale of its business process outsourcing division to Blackstone.

He holds a master’s in finance from Imperial College London and a master’s in international business from Maastricht University, The Netherlands.
