Marty Cicco
Marty Cicco is a senior advisor focused on the firm’s real estate advisory business.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Cicco spent 29 years at Merrill Lynch & Co., ultimately serving as vice chairman of global commercial real estate and global head of real estate investment banking.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Cicco has been involved in a broad range of transactions throughout the real estate and hospitality sectors, including numerous IPO, capital markets and M&A assignments.
He has served on the advisory boards of the Columbia Business School’s Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate; the University of Wisconsin’s James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate, and the Wharton School’s Samuel Zell and Robert Lurie Real Estate Center.
In addition, Mr. Cicco is an active member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and the Real Estate Roundtable. He is a former trustee of both the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers. In 2006, he received the John Jay Award from Columbia College and was presented the Industry Achievement Award by NAREIT in 2008.
Mr. Cicco is a graduate of Columbia University.
