Jay Chandler is a senior advisor in Capital Markets Advisory at Evercore.

Previously, Mr. Chandler was head of capital markets for Liquidnet, one of the world’s leading electronic block trading venues. Prior to that, Mr. Chandler worked at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. For more than 20 years, he was a member of Merrill Lynch’s equity capital markets team, serving as head of global equity syndicate during his last years in the group. Subsequently, he managed Merrill Lynch’s and then Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Americas equity research sales team.

Mr. Chandler earned a B.A. in economics from Princeton University.
