David Burton is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice focused on the industrials sector.

Notable transactions include advising Honeywell on its acquisition of Carrier’s Global Access Solutions, Excelitas Technologies on its sale of select defense and aerospace businesses to Teledyne Technologies, TransDigm on its acquisition of CPI’s electron device business, Emerson on its acquisition of FLEXIM, BorgWarner on the spinoff of PHINIA, Teledyne Technologies on its acquisition of FLIR Systems, Esterline Technologies on its sale to TransDigm, Veritas Capital on its sale of Abaco Systems to AMETEK, and Hanon Systems on its acquisition of Magna International’s fluid pressure and controls group.

Other advisory and M&A clients include AEA Investors, Apollo, Arcline, Blackstone, Emerson, Honeywell, J.F. Lehman & Co., The Jordan Company, Lone Star and OpenGate Capital.
