David Andrews
David Andrews is a senior advisor in the firm’s Energy group and focuses on oil field services and equipment companies.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Andrews was a managing director at Deutsche Bank and head of oil field services coverage. He started his career at Lehman Brothers and has over 20 years of experience covering the oil field services sector. He has advised a broad range of clients on strategic initiatives and capital markets solutions, including National Oilwell Varco on the sale of Pfaudler to Deutsche Beteiligungs, GE on the acquisition of Lufkin, Expro International on the sale of its Connectors and Measurements division to Siemens, Archer on the acquisition of Great White Energy Services, Wood Group on the sale of its Well Support Division to GE, and Horizon Offshore on its merger with Cal Dive International.
Mr. Andrews earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Auburn University and an MBA from Rice University. He also served in the U.S. Navy as a submarine warfare officer.
