Dan Mendelow

Daniel Mendelow is co-head of Investment Banking, U.S., and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. He focuses on advising companies in the communications, digital infrastructure, technology and media sectors on M&A, shareholder activism, restructuring and capital raising transactions.

During his 20-plus years at Evercore, Mr. Mendelow has advised on many of the largest transactions in his sector, including Cox Communications on its merger with Charter Communications; Ziply Fiber on its sale to BCE; Frontier Communications on its chapter 11 restructuring and sale of Pacific Northwest assets to Ziply Fiber; Comcast on its acquisition of Sky; T-Mobile on the acquisition of Sprint; Straight Path on its sale to Verizon; Lightower on its sale to Crown Castle; Fibertech Networks on its sale to Lightower; tw telecom on its sale to Level 3 Communications; AT&T on its acquisition of Leap Wireless; Clearwire on its sale to Sprint Nextel; and MetroPCS on its sale to T-Mobile USA.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Mendelow was vice president of corporate development at FirstMark Communications Europe, which had operations in France, Germany, Spain and Switzerland and operated a pan-European fiber optic backbone with wireless local loop and DSL access networks. Earlier in his career, he was an analyst at BT Wolfensohn (Deutsche Bank).

In 2012, Mr. Mendelow was named by Multichannel News to its “40 Under 40” class of young leaders.

He graduated from Princeton University with an A.B. in economics.
