Cyrille Cotte
Cyrille Cotte is a senior managing director in Evercore’s European financial institutions group.
He focuses on advising on a broad range of global and European insurance and banking clients, bringing global expertise across the life insurance, reinsurance and pension risk transfer sector.
Select transactions include advising Athora on the sale of its Irish VA business; Monument Re on its capital raise; Swiss Re and Legend Holdings on the sale of their PIC stakes; J.C. Flowers on the sale of its PIC stake; NN and ASR on the sale of their Unilever pref shares; Achmea on the sale of Friends First; Aegon on the sale of its U.K. annuity block; NLFI on the IPO of ASR; AXA on the acquisition of HSBC P&C Asia and Latam; KBC on the sale of its U.S. life settlement portfolio; Dexia on the sale of Dexia Epargne Pension; Tokio Marine on the acquisition of Kiln; and Fortis on the acquisition of ABN Amro.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Cotte was a senior director in the EMEA financial institutions group of Citigroup in London, and previously worked for Macquarie, Fox-Pitt, Kelton, and Ernst & Young in London and Paris.
Mr. Cotte has a Master in Management from EDHEC Business School in Lille, France.
