Brian Callahan
Brian Callahan is a managing director in the firm’s Private Capital Markets advisory business, focused on Evercore’s infrastructure & energy-focused debt advisory activities.
Mr. Callahan’s decade-plus career in infrastructure & energy finance includes experience in debt advisory, project finance, M&A, capital markets and principal investing. Prior to Evercore, he served as an investment banker at Macquarie Capital in New York for six years where he advised on innovative project financings, leading the first-in-kind Gulf Coast Ammonia and Sparks Battery Storage transactions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Callahan worked in the project finance divisions at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. and Siemens Financial Services. He has advised Boralex on the acquisition of equity interests in over 1 GW of renewable energy projects, where he most recently served as director of M&A.
He graduated magna cum laude from Seton Hall University, earning a B.B.A. with a concentration in economics, and holds an MBA from Rutgers University.
