Barry Rabinowitz
Barry Rabinowitz is a managing director in the firm’s investment banking business and helps lead the shareholder analytics group. Mr. Rabinowitz also serves on the firm’s Fairness and Equity Commitments committees. He has more than 15 years of experience in shareholder analysis and corporate valuation.
Notable transactions include the merger of Rexnord’s PMC business with Regal Beloit, Fortive’s spinoff of Vontier, Verint’s spinoff of Cognyte, Grubhub’s combination with Just Eat Takeaway.com, the sale of Anadarko to Occidental Petroleum, United Technologies’ spinoff of Otis and Carrier and subsequent merger with Raytheon, Nuance Communications’ spinoff of Cerence, and Dell’s conversion of Class V shares into Dell Technologies Class C shares.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Rabinowitz was in Houlihan Lokey’s financial advisory practice working with clients and boards on valuation related to M&A transactions. He earlier spent 10 years in Goldman Sachs’ M&A group, where he analyzed investor reaction to strategic transactions and served on the firm’s fairness committee.
Mr. Rabinowitz earned a B.B.A from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
