Ankit Dalal is a managing director in the firm’s Debt Advisory & Restructuring Group.

Mr. Dalal has worked on numerous assignments, advising companies, creditors and investors across industries on Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, liability management transactions and financings. Mr. Dalal has also been involved in various ad hoc creditor committees during his time in distressed investing.

Notable advisory and investment experience includes Serta Simmons, TPC Group, Yak Access, Service King, CWT Travel, iQor, Steinhoff and Midstates Petroleum.

Prior to rejoining Evercore, Mr. Dalal worked as an investment analyst at Venor Capital, a distressed and event-driven hedge fund, and Melody Capital, a special situations credit fund. A previous Evercore associate, he began his career at Citigroup in the energy and leveraged finance groups.

Mr. Dalal graduated with high honors from The University of Texas at the McCombs School of Business, earning a B.B.A. in finance.
