Anand Sankaralingam
Anand Sankaralingam is a managing director in the firm’s Technology advisory business based in Menlo Park.
Since joining Evercore, Mr. Sankaralingam has advised marquee technology companies across the software, auto tech, networking and storage sectors, as well as financial sponsors. Notable transactions include eSentire’s private capital raise and sale of significant minority stake to Caisse de dépot et placement du Québec and Georgian; OTTP’s acquisition of Mitratech; CommerceHub’s sale of significant stake to Insight Partners; Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe’s acquisition of TrueCommerce; EVgo’s SPAC merger with CRIS; CollabNet VersionOne’s acquisition of XebiaLabs and Arxan Technologies, which led to the formation of Digital.ai; Palo Alto Networks’ acquisition of Demisto; and Hg Capital’s acquisition of Litera Microsystems.
Prior to Evercore, Mr. Sankaralingam was an engineer at Netflix and Yahoo for over six years, leading multiple cloud transformation and security initiatives.
He earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master of Science in computer science and engineering from University of Buffalo, and a Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering from University of Madras.
