Tim LaLonde

Tim LaLonde is Evercore’s chief financial officer, a senior managing director and a member of the firm’s Management Committee.

Mr. LaLonde has more than three decades of investment banking experience and previously served as Evercore’s COO of Global Investment Banking and co-head of the U.S. Investment Banking business. Prior to Evercore, he was an executive director at UBS and a vice president at Dillon Read, a predecessor firm of UBS.

Mr. LaLonde advised on General Motors’ sale of a 51% interest in GMAC; AT&T’s acquisition of BellSouth; NTL’s acquisition of Telewest Global; SBC Communication’s acquisition of AT&T; Electronic Data Systems’ sale of UGS PLM Solutions; the sale of PanAmSat to an investor group; and Cingular Wireless’ acquisition of AT&T Wireless Services. In addition, he has been involved in numerous transactions in the energy, building & construction, and general industrial sectors.

He received his B.S.B. with high distinction from the University of Minnesota, his M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, and his MBA with high distinction from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College. Mr. LaLonde serves on the Board of Advisors at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
