Ben Eldredge is a senior managing director and focuses on advising companies in the distribution and building products, systems, technologies and materials sectors. He has advised on many notable M&A and capital markets transactions for corporations, private equity groups and family-owned businesses.

His transaction experience includes the sale of CP&P to CMC; sale of Summit Materials to Quikrete; minority stake sale in SupplyHouse to KKR; recapitalization of Arrowhead: minority stake sale in ASC to KKR to facilitate the acquisitions of Reliable and Ward; sale of PGTI to Miter; sale of minority stake in Foley Products to Oaktree; sale of Spectrum HHI to ASSA ABLOY; sale of Big Ass Fans to Madison Industries; sale of IPS to Centerbridge; sale of Bluegrass Materials to Martin Marietta; sale of Big Ass Fans to Lindsay Goldberg; sale of Milestone to Legrand; sale of Ply Gem to CD&R; sale of Norcraft to Fortune Brands; acquisition of ProBuild by BFS; acquisition of Hanson BP by Lone Star; acquisition of RSG by Beacon; sale of TXI to Martin Marietta; sale of Lafarge N.A. gypsum to Lone Star; and IPOs for Core & Main, Forterra, SkylineChampion, GMS, Atkore, Stock Building Supply, Jeld-Wen, Norcraft, Summit Materials and Continental BP.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Eldredge was the global head of basic materials & distribution at Credit Suisse. Earlier, he was a managing director at Citigroup and also worked at Lehman Brothers and Goldsmith Agio Helms.

Mr. Eldredge holds an MBA in finance from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in economics and international studies from Northwestern University.
