Zaheed Kajani
Zaheed Kajani is a senior managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory business and is based in Menlo Park, where he leads the Technology team’s global internet and digital media practice.
His notable M&A transactions include advising Grubhub on its sale to Just Eat Takeaway.com, Verizon on its sale of Yahoo to Apollo Global Management, Integral Ad Science on its sale to Vista Equity, Roadie on its sale to UPS, and RugsUSA on its sale to Francisco Partners. Select equity capital markets transactions include advising Warby Parker and ZipRecruiter on their direct listings, and Alibaba, Bumble, Delivery Hero, Duolingo, Facebook, Grubhub, Pandora, Roku, The Trade Desk, Upwork, Wayfair, Yelp and Zillow on their respective initial public offerings.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Kajani was a managing director and global head of the internet and digital media at Citi. Over the course of his career, he has advised on more than 100 transactions.
He earned a B.A. in political science from UC Berkeley, a J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
