Uttara Marti
Uttara P. Marti is a managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory business focused on the healthcare services sector.
At Evercore, Ms. Marti’s notable transactions include advising Envision Healthcare on its sale to KKR, Envision Healthcare Holdings on its merger with AmSurg, Spire Capital Partners on the sale of its ownership stake in Professional Bull Riders, Ally Financial on the sale of its European and Latin American auto finance operations to General Motors, and AOL on the sale of the majority of its patent portfolio to Microsoft.
Previously, Ms. Marti was an associate at Galileo Global Advisors, where she advised Taj Hotels on the acquisition of the Ritz-Carlton Boston.
She is a co-head of EverProud, Evercore’s LGBTQ+ network.
Ms. Marti received her S.B. and M.Eng. in electrical engineering from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
