Tom Massey
Tom Massey leads Evercore’s chemicals strategic advisory business and has over 25 years of experience.
Major assignments include advising the special committee of Diversey on its sale to Solenis; Paine Schwartz Partners on its acquisition of AgroFresh; Elementis on its sale of Chromium chemicals to Yildirim; Quad-C on its sale of Krayden to Audax; Purolite on its sale to Ecolab; Paine Schwartz Partners on its sale of Verdesian Life Sciences to AEA Investors; Ardian on its sale of Kersia Group to IK Partners; Covestro on its acquisition of DSM Resins & Functional Materials; UPL on its acquisition of Arysta LifeScience; and Carlyle Group on its acquisition of Nouryon from AkzoNobel.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Massey headed Citigroup’s European M&A team and both of Citi’s chemicals and metals & mining investment banking teams in EMEA. He was previously a member of Salomon Brothers’ energy, power & chemicals team.
Mr. Massey holds an undergraduate degree from The College of the Holy Cross and an MBA from Georgetown University.
