Major assignments include advising Axalta on its $25B merger with AkzoNobel; NCH on its sale to Solenis; Buckman on its majority sale to Pritzker Private Capital; Technip Energies on its acquisition of Ecovyst’s advanced materials & catalysts unit; Diversey on its $4.6B sale to Solenis; Paine Schwartz Partners on its acquisition of AgroFresh; Flotek on its sale of Florida Chemical to ADM; Quad-C on its sale of Krayden to Audax; Purolite on its $3.7B sale to Ecolab; Paine Schwartz Partners on its sale of Verdesian Life Sciences to AEA Investors; Ardian on the sale of Kersia Group to IK Investment Partners; Covestro on its €1.6B acquisition of Koninklijke DSM’s resins and functional materials unit; UPL on its $4.2B acquisition of Arysta LifeScience; and Carlyle Group on its €10.1B acquisition of AkzoNobel’s specialty chemicals business.

Mr. Massey holds an undergraduate degree from The College of the Holy Cross and earned an MBA from Georgetown University.
