Tom Mahowald
Tom Mahowald is a managing director and portfolio manager at Evercore Wealth Management. He is a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee.
Mr. Mahowald joined Evercore from U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, where he worked as a senior portfolio manager. Previously, he served as the chief investment officer at Great Northern Capital, an asset manager for institutional and high-net-worth individual clients, and as the director of equity research at FAF Advisors and American Express Financial Advisors. He has over 25 years of investment experience in research and portfolio management.
Mr. Mahowald is a board member and chair of the investment committee of the True Friends Foundation, which serves children and adults with disabilities. He is also a member and president of the alumni association board of directors at St. John’s University, a member of the finance council at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Eagan, and a member of the CFA Society of Minnesota.
Mr. Mahowald earned a B.S. in management from Saint John’s University and a master’s in finance analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is a chartered financial analyst.
