Sunil Koshie is a managing director in the firm’s investment banking business focused on the software and technology sectors.

Mr. Koshie has over 15 years of technology investment banking and strategic advisory experience.

Select transactions include advising Kaseya on its acquisition of Datto; Precisely on the sale of significant minority interest to Insight Partners and Partners Group; Thycotic on its sale to Centrify and Thoma Bravo; SmartBear on the sale of significant interest to Vista Equity Partners; Calypso on its sale to Thoma Bravo; CommerceHub on its sale to Insight Partners; CommerceHub on its sale to GTCR and Sycamore Partners; and Nokia on the sale of its HERE mapping business to a consortium consisting of Audi.

Prior to joining Evercore in 2014, Mr. Koshie was with SAP America. He also held positions at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch focused on technology investment banking. Earlier, he was a software engineer at Cisco Systems.

Mr. Koshie holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.Tech in computer science and engineering from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, India.
