Steve Gordon
Steve Gordon is a managing director in the consumer retail team at Evercore.
Mr. Gordon has over 18 years of investment banking experience and advises on a wide range of M&A and capital markets transactions.
Select deals include advising Unilever on the sale of Suave to Yellow Wood Partners, S.A. Brain on the transfer of its pubs to Marston’s, NotOnTheHighStreet on its sale to Great Hill Partners, Procter & Gamble on its defence against shareholder activism, Danone on the sale of Stonyfield to Lactalis, Quala on the sale of its HPC brands to Unilever, Vogue Int’l (OGX) on its sale to Johnson & Johnson, and Hanesbrands on the acquisition of Maidenform.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Gordon worked in the consumer retail teams at Goldman Sachs and Lazard in London and New York.
He holds a first-class degree in economics from The University of Edinburgh and a Master of Science in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
