Stephen Richardson
Stephen Richardson is a senior managing director covering energy & materials at the firm. His coverage spans the integrated oils, global upstream and global chemicals industries.
Coverage includes 40-plus stocks across energy and a broad cross-section of global chemicals, including petrochemicals and specialties. He also has responsibility for the firm’s crude oil and natural gas macro view and price forecasts.
Mr. Richardson has been named to the Institutional Investor (now Extel) All-America Research Team since 2012, achieving a top-3 ranking since 2018 in his sectors. Most recently, he ranked No. 3 in the integrated oil sector and was a runner-up in the oil & gas exploration and production category.
Prior to joining Evercore ISI, Mr. Richardson covered the E&P sector in equity research at both Deutsche Bank & Morgan Stanley.
He is a graduate of McGill University and holds an MBA from École des Hautes Études Commerciales.
