Stephen Richardson is a senior managing director and covers the integrated oils & exploration and production sectors as well as the global chemicals industry.

Coverage includes 40-plus stocks across energy and a broad cross section of global chemicals, including petrochemicals and battery materials. He also has responsibility for the firm’s crude oil and natural gas macro view and price forecasts.

Mr. Richardson has been named to the Institutional Investor All-America Research Team for oil & gas exploration & production since 2012, achieving a top-2 ranking since 2018. He was also runner-up in the integrated oil sector in 2022 and 2023.

Prior to joining Evercore ISI, Mr. Richardson covered the E&P sector in equity research at both Deutsche Bank & Morgan Stanley.

He is a graduate of McGill University and holds an MBA from École des Hautes Études Commerciales.
