Stella (Somin) Yoo is a managing director in the firm’s technology strategic advisory business.

At Evercore, Ms. Yoo has advised leading technology firms and financial sponsors on a variety of transactions, including Clearpath Robotics on its sale to Rockwell Automation; Samsung Display on its acquisition of eMagin; Ribbon Communications on its private placement offering; Vocera Communications on its sale to Stryker; Fetch Robotics on its sale to Zebra Technologies; Cognyte on its spinoff from Verint Systems; Arris on its sale to CommScope; and the special committee of Dell Technologies on its merger between Class V & C shares.

Prior to joining Evercore, Ms. Yoo was an investment associate at Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. She started her career as an investment banking analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

She serves as a member of Council of Korean Americans (CKA) and Korea Finance Society (KFS).

Ms. Yoo earned a B.S. in economics and statistics with high honors from the University of Michigan.
