Shawn Rassouli is a managing director in the firm’s Technology group in Menlo Park, where he primarily focuses on advising clients in the internet & digital media and e-commerce businesses.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Rassouli was a director in Citigroup’s technology investment banking group based in San Francisco and an equity research analyst covering global consumer internet and software businesses, most recently at Deutsche Bank.

Mr. Rassouli’s transaction experience includes advising Grubhub on its $7.4 billion sale to Just Eat Takeaway, Roadie on its sale to UPS, ShopRunner on its sale to FedEx, Verizon on the $5 billion sale of Verizon Media assets to Apollo, The Trade Desk on its initial public offering and subsequent equity offerings, Upwork on its IPO, and the SoftBank Vision Fund on its investment in Flipkart.

Mr. Rassouli holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in electrical engineering and an MBA with honors from the University of Toronto.
