Sebastian Oechelhaeuser is a managing director focused on Equity Capital Markets advisory.

Mr. Oechelhaeuser has worked in equity capital markets and corporate finance in Frankfurt and London for over 20 years, advising companies, shareholders and governments on transactions in Europe, Asia and the United States.

Select deals include advising on the IPOs of Knorr-Bremse, Denali Therapeutics, ADO Properties, Senvion and Scout24; capital increases for KION Group, Pro7Sat1 Media, Vonovia and Deutsche Bank; and the spinoff and listing of Buwog from Immofinanz. Clients have included ABN Amro, Converium, Deutsche Telekom, KBC, Talanx, Telekom Austria and TPG.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Oechelhaeuser has advised on transactions with an aggregate volume of over €80 billion in developed markets.

He began his career with Paribas and Merrill Lynch in London, most recently serving as head of German ECM advisory at KPMG. He also worked for N.M. Rothschild’s equity advisory group in London and Barclays.

Mr. Oechelhaeuser studied at Bayreuth University and the London School of Economics and holds a Diploma in Management Studies.
