Richard Hoyle
Richard Hoyle is head of European information services and media. Based in Evercore’s London office, he works alongside Jason Sobol, Nathan Graf and Jonathan Knee in New York as part of Evercore’s industry-leading practice.
Mr. Hoyle has advised on over 100 transactions during more than 25 years in investment banking, particularly around information services, marketing services, financial market platforms and related software.
Prior to joining Evercore in 2022, Mr. Hoyle was global co-head of information services and head of U.K. TMT for Lazard. Past deals include advising Hg on its acquisition of the governance, risk and compliance (GRC) software company Ideagen; Atairos on its take-private of U.K. digital advertising operator Ocean Outdoor; Baird Capital on the sale of digital threat intelligence business Crisp Thinking to Kroll; WPP on the sale of a majority stake in its global data, research, consulting and analytics business Kantar to Bain; and LSEG on the purchase of Russell Indices.
He graduated with first-class honours in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Pembroke College, Oxford University.
