Ranga Covindassamy is a managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory business focused on the chemicals sector.

Mr. Covindassamy has advised on a number of notable transactions for corporate and sponsor clients, including Krayden on its sale to Audax, Paine Schwartz Partners on the take-private of AgroFresh Solutions, Purolite on its sale to Ecolab, Verdesian Life Sciences on its sale to AEA Investors, Gabriel Performance Products on its sale to Huntsman, Baker Hughes on the sale of its specialty polymers business to SK Capital Partners, Flotek Industries on the sale of Florida Chemical to ADM, and Hexion Holdings’ first lien creditors on its Chapter 11 plan of reorganization.

Mr. Covindassamy earned his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and his bachelor’s degree (honors) in finance and mathematics from Georgetown University.
