Pranav Goel is a managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory business focused on the software and technology sectors.

Since joining Evercore in 2014, Mr. Goel has worked with strategic and private equity clients on an array of deals, including M&A, restructurings, distressed M&A and financings. Over the course of his career, he has completed more than 20 transactions with an aggregate value of over $30 billion.

Select assignments include advising on Blackstone’s acquisition of Cvent; Kaseya and Insight Partners’ acquisition of Datto; Kryon Systems’ sale to Nintex; the restructurings of Murray Energy, GNC and Syncreon Logistics; and financings for Coty’s acquisition of P&G’s beauty business and Huntington Ingalls.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Goel was an investment banker at JP Morgan. Earlier in his career and before attending business school, he was a software engineer at Microsoft.

Mr. Goel holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, a master’s in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor’s from Thapar University in India.
