Pranav Goel

Pranav Goel is a managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory practice focused on the software and technology sectors. He is based in Menlo Park.

Since joining Evercore in 2016, Mr. Goel has worked with strategic and private equity clients on M&A, capital raises and restructurings. Over the course of his career, he has completed more than 20 transactions with an aggregate value of over $30 billion.

Select assignments include advising on Jama Software’s sale to Francisco Partners, WorkForce Software’s sale to ADP, Syniti’s sale to Capgemini, Phocas Software’s investment from AKKR, Blackstone’s acquisition of Cvent, Kaseya and Insight Partners’ acquisition of Datto, and Kryon Systems’ sale to Nintex.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Goel was an investment banker at JP Morgan. Earlier in his career and before attending business school, he was a software engineer at Microsoft.

Mr. Goel holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, a master’s in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor’s from Thapar University in India.
