Omar Soliman

Omar Soliman is a managing director in Evercore’s Capital Structure Advisory team, based in London.

Mr. Soliman has advised corporate clients, sponsors and creditor groups on capital raising, liability management, restructuring, distressed M&A and other strategic transactions. Notable engagements include advising Stonegate Group on its liability management and recapitalisation transactions, Lecta on its out-of-court restructuring, CityFibre on its amend and extend, and OSG Group on its liability management transaction and chapter 11 restructuring. Other assignments include advisory roles for Signa Development, Danaos, Seadrill Partners and Norske Skog.

Prior to joining Evercore in 2015, Mr. Soliman worked at Freitag & Co in Frankfurt, where he advised on M&A and restructuring transactions.

Mr. Soliman holds an M.Sc. in finance from Imperial College Business School in London and a B.Sc. in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany.
