Neal Patel
Neal Patel is a managing director in the firm’s Debt Advisory & Restructuring Group.
At Evercore, Mr. Patel has advised independent and sponsor-backed companies in restructuring and capital markets transactions across a variety of industries. His company-side experience includes representing Energy Future Holdings (KKR, TPG, GS Capital Partners), David’s Bridal (CD&R), Chesapeake Energy, California Resources Corp., Altegrity (Providence Equity), Drive Medical (CD&R), Fieldwood Energy (Riverstone), Jonah Energy (TPG), PG&E, Aurora Diagnostic (Summit Partners), Callon Petroleum, and Sheridan Energy (Warburg Pincus). Mr. Patel’s creditor-side experience includes advising Diamond Offshore and Washington Prime.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Patel was a finance manager at Newsweek/The Daily Beast and an analyst at RBC Capital Markets, where he advised clients in M&A and leveraged finance transactions.
Mr. Patel earned an B.B.A. with a concentration in finance and accounting from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
