Michelle McKenna
Michelle McKenna is a senior advisor in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice, with a focus on technology, entertainment and sports.
Ms. McKenna is a seasoned C-level executive with experience leading large-scale transformations at America’s largest media and entertainment brands, Disney, Universal and the NFL. Most recently, Ms. McKenna was the chief information officer of the NFL for 10 seasons and was responsible for the management of the league’s technology strategy and initiatives, including in-game technology, the in-stadium fan experience and reaching new fans through data and digital marketing. She led the league’s strategic technology partnerships to bring in a new era of technology and media partnerships with Amazon, Microsoft, Cisco and Verizon. Previously, Ms. McKenna was CIO at Constellation Energy, where she led the acquisition integration of multiple energy companies, smart meter deployment, and merger with Exelon. At Universal Studios, she led the technology build and launch for the theme park’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter and served as CIO for Universal Orlando Resort. Ms. McKenna began her Disney career in the finance and strategic planning area, focused on the buildout of Walt Disney World’s resorts, cruise ships, theme parks and vacation club; she also held positions across finance, marketing, sales, operations and technology. She began her career at PwC as a CPA
Ms. McKenna is an author, keynote speaker and a seasoned public and private company board director and has chaired and served as a member of audit, compensation and special committees. She is on the board of trustees for CommonSpirit—the nation’s largest Catholic healthcare system.
