Michael Beck

Michael Beck is a managing director in Evercore’s Private Funds Group and co-leads the Americas distribution team. Mr. Beck is responsible for capital raising for financial sponsors in his coverage of institutional investors across the Western U.S. He has been involved in global capital raisings for private fund sponsors across multiple strategies, including buyout, growth equity, private infrastructure and private debt.

Prior to joining Evercore in 2020, Mr. Beck was a vice president in the Goldman Sachs Partner Family Office, where he advised financial services executives and institutional clients, including family offices, foundations and endowments. He began his career as an equity trader at Edward Jones.

Mr. Beck earned a dual-degree B.S. in finance and French from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Cornell University, with a concentration in capital markets and asset management.
