Mark Williamson is a senior managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory practice and helps lead the firm’s Infrastructure, Utilities and Renewables group. He focuses on advising companies and capital institutions across infrastructure sectors including transportation, digital & communications, services, waste, water, energy, renewables, social and health.

International experience includes M&A, P3, financing, capital raising and restructuring of assets and businesses. Select transactions include the corporate breakup of Macquarie Infrastructure Corp. (divestments of Atlantic Aviation, IMTT and Hawaii Gas); Chicago Skyway sale to Atlas Arteria; advisor to Port Authority NY & NJ; ODATA sale to Aligned Data Centers; divestment of Global Container Terminals’ U.S. assets to CMA CGM; Pattern Energy sale to CPPIB; Dubai World debt optimization; IFM capitalization of Freeport LNG; ImPark sale to Softbank Vision Fund and Mubadala; Morgan Stanley 49% acquisition of Lightpath; and the sale of Synagro Technologies.

Prior to joining Evercore, as director he initiated the Americas infrastructure advisory practice at Merrill Lynch and began his investment banking career at Cazenove & Co, departing Goldman Sachs as vice president.

He earned a B.S. in actuarial science from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
