Marcelo Pizzimbono is a senior managing director and head of sales at Evercore ISI.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Pizzimbono was a managing partner at CrossRegional Management, a private credit alternative asset management firm that specializes in origination and funding of direct lending portfolios in emerging markets. He previously served as president of Clave, a Latin American fintech company founded by CrossRegional Partners; managed the U.S. equity franchise sales effort at Goldman Sachs; and oversaw U.S. equity sales and prime finance sales at Deutsche Bank. Earlier in his career, he was a U.S. equity salesperson at Goldman Sachs, a Latin American equity salesperson at J.P. Morgan, and a financial consultant at Smith Barney.

Mr. Pizzimbono earned a B.A. in international studies from Manhattanville College and an MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
