Lorenzo Ruggeri

Lorenzo Ruggeri is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice. He is based in Milan.

Mr. Ruggeri partners with financial sponsors and global corporates, delivering differentiated advice on a wide range of M&A transactions.

Recent assignments include Aquafil’s capital increase; the extension of CVC partnership with Multiversity; the acquisition of CPC’s tissue business in US by Sofidel; the acquisition of Medica by Donaldson; the carve-out of Magirus from Iveco Group; the disposal of Maccaferri to Ambienta by Carlyle, Stellex and GLG; the disposal of a minority stake of Gruppo Desa by the Silva Family to Azzurra Capital; the disposal of Kedrion to Permira by the Marcucci Family, FSI and CDPE and simultaneous acquisition of BPL; and the acquisition of Guala Closures by Investindustrial.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Ruggeri spent 10 years at Lazard, having begun his career at HSBC.

Mr. Ruggeri graduated cum laude from Maastricht University with a master’s in finance.
