Laurence G. Hainault is a senior managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice. Based in Paris, she is focused on communications and digital infrastructure.

Select transaction experience includes advising DWS on the sale of NorthC to Antin; NorthC on the acquisition of a European data center portfolio from Colt; Proximus on the sale of Proximus Luxembourg towers to Infrared; CPPIB on its co-investment in KKR-led carveout of TIM Netco; EDF Invest on a consortium acquisition of a 27% stake in Databank; KPN on the formation of the Glaasport JV with APG; Orange on the sale of a 50% stake in Orange Concessions to Banque des Territoires, CNP and EDF Invest; KKR Infra on the sale of its stake in Hivory to Cellnex; GTT on the sale of its infrastructure division to I Squared; OMERS on the acquisition of a stake in Deutsche Glasfaser and Inexio; and Omantel on the acquisition of a controlling stake in Zain.

Ms. Hainault has more than 28 years of combined experience advising telecommunications and telecom infrastructure companies and funds at Evercore, Credit Suisse and DLJ in London and New York.

Prior to joining Evercore in 2023, she served as managing director and head of EMEA telecom for Credit Suisse based in Paris.

Ms. Hainault holds a Magistère in Bank, Finance & Insurance as well as a DEA in International Economics from University of Paris-IX Dauphine and a master’s in business law from Pantheon-Sorbonne University.
