Kirtan Pansari
Kirtan Pansari is a senior managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory business focused on the chemicals sector.
Mr. Pansari has advised on over 30 strategic and financing transactions during his career, including KWS on the acquisition of Pop Vriend; UPL on the acquisition of Arysta LifeScience; Carlyle Group on the acquisition of Akzo Nobel’s specialty chemicals business; Dupont on its asset exchange with FMC; and Egeria on its sale of Den Braven to Arkema.
In addition, he has worked on a range of capital market transactions, including Synthos on high-yield financing and dividend recap; M&G on financing of Corpus Christi; CVC on HY financing of Parex; Permira on the leveraged buyout financing of CABB International; and Apollo on the LBO of Taminco.
Before joining Evercore in 2015, Mr. Pansari was a director at Deutsche Bank in London in the investment banking division, initially in the technology, media & communications and structured equity groups, then in the natural resources group. Earlier in his career, he was at Goldman Sachs in the macroeconomics and equity portfolio strategy team.
He is a chartered financial analyst and earned a B.S. in economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
