Kip Bitok

Kip Bitok is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice and focuses on the healthcare sector.

Previously, Mr. Bitok was a managing director in healthcare investment banking at Chardan, where he also worked in biotech equity research. Select transaction experience includes IPOs for Metagenomi, Lexeo Therapeutics, Tenaya Therapeutics and Taysha Gene Therapies; follow-on offerings for uniQure and Avidity Biosciences; and private financings for Signify Bio and Forge Biologics.

Prior to his Wall Street career, Mr. Bitok was a postdoctoral researcher at Rockefeller University, where he developed high-throughput methods for identifying biosynthetic gene clusters. He also served as an executive board member of the Rockefeller Postdoctoral Association.

Mr. Bitok holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He earned a B.Sc. in biochemistry from Syracuse University, where he was captain of the cross-country and track and field team.
