Kevin Putman is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice, focused on M&A and capital markets advisory across the energy sector, with an emphasis on midstream and fuel distribution.

Mr. Putman has over a decade of investment banking experience and has advised on transactions representing over $35 billion of value, including Crestwood on its merger with Energy Transfer; Targa on its sale of Bakken gathering assets to Blackstone; Mubadala Energy on its investment in NextDecade’s Rio Grande LNG facility; Antero Midstream on its acquisition of HG Energy Midstream; Cureton Midstream on its sale to Williams; Archrock on its acquisition of Total Operations and Production Services; and an ad hoc group of Term Loan B lenders on the restructuring of New Fortress Energy. He has also advised on a number of special committee and related party transactions, including the take-privates of Shell Midstream Partners, Sprague Resources, Sisecam Resources and TransMontaigne Partners.

Prior to joining Evercore in 2018, Mr. Putman was an associate in the Global Energy Group at Deutsche Bank in Houston.

Mr. Putman earned a B.A. in finance from the University of Kansas and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
