Kaan Kesedar

Kaan Kesedar is a senior managing director in the Financial Sponsors Group in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and is based in London.

Mr. Kesedar has nearly 20 years of investment banking experience advising private equity firms and corporates on M&A, capital markets and strategic transactions. Prior to joining Evercore, he served as a managing director at Citi in the financial sponsors coverage group, where he drove expansion of the coverage platform across large- and mid-cap sponsors. Previously, he worked at Credit Suisse advising U.K. corporates and EMEA healthcare companies across public/private M&A, IPOs, rights issues, debt financing and public restructurings.

Mr. Kesedar has extensive experience working with private equity firms identifying, acquiring, funding, scaling and exiting portfolio companies across sectors and geographies. He also works directly with owners and management teams to identify suitable sources of private capital to support their ambitions.

He earned a B.A. at Vanderbilt University and an MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
