Jonathan Kelton
Jonathan Kelton is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory business. He focuses on clients in the real estate sector, including real estate investment trusts (REITs), financial sponsors, real estate operating companies, real estate services companies and homebuilders.
Mr. Kelton has advised on a wide range of corporate M&A and capital raising transactions. Notable recent transactions include advising STORE Capital on its pending sale to GIC and Oak Street, LXP Industrial Trust on its activism defense against Land & Buildings, the conflicts committee of the board of MGM Growth Properties on its sale to VICI, and Fundamental Income on its initial equity commitment from Brookfield Asset Management.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Kelton was a vice president at Credit Suisse in the real estate group.
Mr. Kelton earned a B.A. from the Virginia Military Institute, where he studied international studies and political science, and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, where he concentrated in finance and real estate.
