Jonathan Dale

Jonathan Dale is a senior managing director in Evercore’s consumer strategic advisory practice based in London.

Mr. Dale has over two decades of experience, advising on a range of M&A and capital raising transactions across the consumer products space.

Notable deals include Coca-Cola’s sale of a controlling interest in Coca-Cola Beverages Africa to Coca-Cola HBC; Greencore’s acquisition of Bakkavor plc; Diageo’s disposals of Cacique and Pampero; John Swire & Son’s acquisition of Swire Coca-Cola USA; the sale of Gin Mare to Brown-Forman; CapVest’s sale of 850 Food Group to Sofina; Asahi’s acquisitions of Carlton and United Breweries and SABMiller’s CEE operations; the sale of Whyte & Mackay to Emperador; Ferrero’s acquisition of Thorntons plc; and the sale of FEMSA’s beer business to Heineken.

Mr. Dale joined Evercore in 2026 after 19 years at Rothschild & Co in London, where he was co-head of the European consumer team. Previously, he spent five years as a strategy consultant with Mars & Co.

Mr. Dale holds a master’s in chemistry from Balliol College, Oxford.
