Jon Whitt
Jon Whitt is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice.
Since joining Evercore in 2016, notable transactions include advising the board of directors of WestRock (formerly NYSE: WRK) on its merger with Smurfit Kappa (formerly LSE: SKG) to create Smurfit WestRock (NYSE: SW); Crown Holdings (NYSE: CCK) on the sale of its European Tinplate business to KPS Capital Partners; Pregis, a portfolio company of Olympus Partners, on its sale to Warburg Pincus; and Tekni-Plex, a portfolio company of American Securities, on its sale to Genstar Capital. Additionally, he has advised numerous public and private clients across buy- and sell-side M&A and strategic review assignments.
Prior to Evercore, Mr. Whitt was a vice president in the industrials group at Barclays, with a focus on the packaging, paper and forest products sectors. Previously, he worked at WP Global Partners.
He graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in industrial engineering and economics from Northwestern University and earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
