John Favorite is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory business focused on the infrastructure sector.

Mr. Favorite has spent his entire decade-plus career advising clients on strategic transactions across transportation, digital, social, water/waste, energy transition and infrastructure services. Notable deals include advising ODATA on its pending sale to Aligned Data Centers; Macquarie Infrastructure on divestments of Atlantic Aviation to KKR & Co., lnternational-Matex Tank Terminals to Riverstone, and MIC Hawaii to Argo Infrastructure; Enstructure on its refinancing from Blackstone and secondary capital raise; IFM Investors on the take-private of Buckeye Partners; and American Roads on its sale to DIF Capital Partners.

Prior to joining Evercore in 2017, he began his career at Macquarie Capital in New York, advising on transportation and infrastructure deals, including P3 developments and principal transactions under the merchant-banking platform.

Mr. Favorite earned a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, receiving the highest distinction upon graduation.
