Jay Springer is a partner and portfolio manager at Evercore Wealth Management and the chief investment officer of Evercore Trust Company NA. He serves on the Strategic Planning and the Investment Management committees.

Prior to joining Evercore in 2008, Mr. Springer was a managing director at U.S. Trust. He was responsible for managing individual client portfolios, mutual funds and common trust funds. He also held several management roles during his tenure, which started in 1983, including supervising all client-facing portfolio managers and managing the New York wealth management and wealth advisory groups.

He is a member of the New York Advisory Board of the Caron Treatment Centers.

Mr. Springer graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a B.B.A. and earned an MBA from New York University Graduate School of Business.
